Responsible Use

A practical guide to what we consider appropriate use of BipBup and what falls outside the scope.

Examples of generally compatible use

  • Saving your own videos, photos, audio or reposts published by you.
  • Archiving material released under license, in the public domain or with express permission from the rights holder.
  • Keeping internal references for study, moderation, support or editorial work within allowed limits.

Examples of use we do not accept

  • Downloading third-party media without permission when that would violate terms, licenses or copyright.
  • Trying to access private accounts, restricted stories, paid content, login-protected content, DRM, paywalls or geoblocks.
  • Using the service to republish other people works, sell compilations, strip authorship context or feed abusive automation.

About source platforms

Every platform has its own terms of service, API limits and reuse rules. It is the user responsibility to verify whether downloading and later use are allowed.

If a platform, rights holder or authority requires additional restriction, we may adjust the site behavior to keep operational compliance.

No security bypass

BipBup was not built to break authentication, signatures, DRM, paywalls, stream protection or any other access control.

If a link depends on special permission, an authenticated session or payment, the expected behavior is that the site will not deliver the file.

If you find misuse

Report the case through the official channel with URL, context and enough evidence. Copyright, trademark, privacy and fraud reports receive priority review.
